Performance Task –

 

Goal – You will become a worker in the community.

 

Role – You will choose a job from our job list.  You will learn about your job and what it takes to do your job.

 

Audience – You will be reporting to your classmates and family members during our Career Day Festival.

 

Situation – You came across a job that you want to do but someone else has already picked it.  You can look at the list and find another job that you are interested in portraying and choose that one or ask your teacher to help find one that suitable for you.

 

Product/Performance – On the day of the festival, you will dress up to portray your job and bring in any necessary props or pictures to help us understand your job.  Be prepared to answer questions about your job.

Audience was able to identify student’s job without him telling us.

Student was dressed, but could have been easily mistaken for something else.

Student was not dressed accordingly.

Props/Pictures

Props and/or pictures accurately displayed the student’s job.

Props and/or pictures somewhat displayed the students job.

Props and/or pictures had little to no relevance of what the student’s job was.

Explanation

Student accurately explained the job he/she was portraying in excellent detail.

Student explained the job well, but needed a lot of prompting.

Student’s explanation of the job had little to no relevance about the job.
