   Performance Task – GRASPS

Goal: Pretend that you are a baker at your own Pizza Parlor called The Hungry, Hungry Pizza.

Role: Your job is to make pizzas according to how people want them. For example, they may want Ό of a pizza or ½ of a pizza. Use fractions that we have talked about such as: halves, thirds, fourths, sixths, and eighths depending on what your customers ask for.

Audience: Hungry pizza eaters.

Situation: You have just opened up your very own pizza parlor and your job is to sell enough pizza so that you can open up a chain of restaurants. You need $100 to open up a new pizza parlor. You must come up with your own prices as well. You must get your customer orders right or they may get mad and leave. If they leave, you won’t make any money.

Product/Performance: You will create 4 or more pizza models. They need to be neatly hand drawn and cut into even parts according to what your customers ask for.

Standard/Criteria for Success: Your pizzas will need to be neatly hand drawn and cut into equal parts and created exactly how your customers ask for them. You must do your personal best and be creative in creating your pizzas and your pizza parlor.

***Your customers will be rating how well you treat them and how well you create their pizzas for them by filling out a customer survey.***
