            Performance Task-GRASPS

Goal-
You will learn how to look at pictures in books and decide the order in which the events would chronologically occur.

Role- You will be reviewing the book and writing down the changes that need to be made to the book to have the story written in chronological order.

Audience- You will be reporting the changes that need to be made to Mrs. Cox, who will be visiting our class to get feedback on her most recent book.

Situation-
Mrs. Cox, an author of children’s books made many mistakes in writing the chronological order of time that events occurred in her most recent children’s book.

Product/Performance- You will each look through the same children’s book and make notes of what mistakes you think the author has made. You will share your ideas with your group members and work together to design a story worm. You will write the title on the head of the worm and then draw pictures on each section of the worm to represent the order the events took place in the story. You will also label your drawings. The worm should show how the story should be told to be written in chronological order.
