Role You will be an inspector who works for
the power company. You are to document
that all three forms of energy exist in a homes kitchen and that there are at
least two sources of each of those forms.
Audience You will report your findings to a
local newspaper on behalf of the power company.
Product/Performance You will create
poster with a chart listing the three forms of energy- motion, light and
heat. Under each heading, you will write
the name of at least two sources of energy of that form and describe what it is
used for that you have in your kitchen at home.
You can either draw a picture of the object where the source comes from,
cut it out of a magazine or print it off the Internet. You will present your poster to the class, as
well as the reporter, Ida Nonothing, to educate everyone on what sources of
energy are present in your kitchen.
