Performance Task—GRASPS

Goal- You will teach the new student, Priasha about the fall season in Georgia.  You will know what things occur during the fall season.

Role- You will be a mentor to Priasha. You will teach her what is special about the fall season.

Audience- Your audience will be Priasha, the new student from India.

Situation- Priasha, the new student from India is confused. She is not sure about the weather in Georgia. When she first moved here, it was hot. Now, the weather is changing and it is cooler. She is still wearing shorts to school even on the cool days. When the leaves fall off the trees, she wants to know if she can put them back on the trees. Also, she wants to know why the students are dressing up like monsters. Your job is to teach Priasha about fall and all the wonderful things that occur during this time of the year.

Product/Performance- You will create a video that highlights all the great things that only occur during the fall season such as weather changes, appropriate clothing, and which months are in the fall season. Your video will help Priasha understand and enjoy the fall season.
