Performance Task- My World

Goal: Your project is to come up with characteristics about a world you imagine. You will be the author and map illustrator of your world.

Role: You are an author and map maker. You will need to write a description of your world and illustrate it with a map. You world should have a name, 4 different landforms, and descriptions of the plants and animals. Don’t forget your map key!

Audience: Your audience is your classmates. You will be sharing your story and map with the class.

Situation: You are an author and illustrator. You will be presenting your story and map to our class.

Product: You will imagine your own world. Then, you will write a creative story about your world. Last, you will create a map to illustrate your world.

Standard: Your story must describe your world: its name, things in it, and how it looks. Your map needs 4 different landforms(drawn or pictures) and be creative.
