Performance Task - GRASPS

Goal- You will find out more about your home regions' physical and human characteristics.

 

Role- You will be a travel agent. You will provide all the information about the important features of your home region.

 

Audience: You will be giving information to the prospective travelers who want to visit your home region.

 

Situation: Mr. Visitor is new to the United States of America. He does not know much about the regions here. Your job is to create visitor guidebooks that describe the unique physical and human characteristics of your home region. The guidebooks should include pictures and should feature the things that you feel are special about your home region. They should list elements of the physical landscape, such as climate, landforms, plants, animals, and elements of the human landscape, such as work opportunities, economic activities, recreational activities, regional accents, and foods.

 

Product/Performance: You will make a visitor guidebooks that describe the unique physical and human characteristics of your home region.
